Modular recycling and processing equipment for waste solar panels

End‑of‑life solar panels are not waste – they are high‑value urban mines.

This Modular Turnkey Recycling & Treatment System for Crystalline Silicon PV Panels is engineered to efficiently recover the main material fractions: approximately 74.2% glass, 10.3% aluminum frame and 4% solar cells, all tightly bonded with EVA encapsulant.

By combining dedicated modules for crushing, separation and EVA debonding, the system rapidly converts discarded PV modules into reusable glass aggregate, clean aluminum and cell recovery streams.

It helps operators comply with environmental regulations, cut disposal costs and unlock new revenue from secondary raw materials in the booming solar decommissioning market.

A. Solar Panel Dismantling/Crushing/(Pyrolysis)/Screening and Recycling Equipment: Separates solar 

     panels into: glass (separated into complete solar panels and crushed solar panels), silicon powder, 

     copper, plastic, etc.


B.Process Principle: Dismantling, Crushing/(Pyrolysis), Screwing

    * Dismantling/Removal: Removes the aluminum frame and junction box; removes the PVDF plastic 

       from the back panel, then removes the EVA adhesive, thus dismantling the following: glass panel, 

       solar cells, copper conductive strip, and back panel PVDF plastic film.


    *  The panel glass can be reused or crushed (pyrolyzed); the silicon in the solar wafers, the metal 

        resources (copper, lead, tin, silver) in the copper conductive strip, the aluminum metal in the aluminum 

        frame, the copper metal in the junction box, and the PP plastic are all valuable recyclable materials.


C. Processing Capacity: 200 ~ 1,000 Kg/Hr, recycling rate exceeding 85%


D. Equipment Selection: Differentiated between intact and broken solar panels


E. Basic Equipment: Junction box remover, frame remover, glass separator, sorter (glass/other) 


F. Optional Equipment: Single-shaft shredder, crusher, carbonization furnace (pyrolysis furnace), 

    baffle separator, electrostatic separator

G. Air Pollution Control Equipment: Pulse dust collector and other flue gas treatment equipment 

    (Option)
